Ruth Sylmor, a member of the Bakery Photo Collective since 2002, is dedicated to analog photographpy. And the Darkroom. About shooting, she says, “I like spontaneous situations. I set out with a general idea of what I do not want to include … bridges, fountains, tourists… then the surprise… something catches my eye… guys on the bridge, an angular reflection of the fountain, tourists eating a strawberry sundae…” Her work has been exhibited in Paris, France, and Maine. She is the author of 5 books.
